The project "Different, but together" aims to promote employment of persons with intellectual disabilities on the open market or in a protected environment. In May 2007, we created a social entreprise“Pentru Voi”, authorised as a "protected company", on the grounds of Law 488/2006 (1/3 of employees have a disability). It had a remarkable development, in terms of number of disabled employees and of turnover.

The results of the project are a premiere in Romania:

-  96 jobs for persons with intellectual disabilities (62  in the Pentru Voi Protected Company and 34 employed on the open labour market)

- 12 persons with severe intellectual disabilities involved in the supported employment programme;

- 27 partnerships between the Pentru Voi Protected company and companies from Timisoara;

- 2 video clips on the employment of persons with intellectual disabilities, shown at events organized by Pentru Voi (conferences, seminars, the Pentru Voi Annual Gala), posted on the web site of the Foundation and on You Tube

-  Pentru Voi Gala- a major PR event for promoting the employment of people with disability had 120 participants: the Mayor, local authorities, corporate executives and senior staff, multinational companies, Rotary club, persons with disabilities and their families

- 15 journalists informed on intellectual disability in general and on employing persons with intellectual disabilities in particular;

- 5 major companies from Timisoara decided that they can externalize an entire production process to the Pentru Voi Protected Unit.
